Knitting Lie

I recently started knitting and am loving it. It's therapeutic and challenging in the best way possible. But here’s my confession: I told my friend that I’ve been doing this for years, just to sound cool. Last week when she asked me to teach her, I had to borrow YouTube tutorials on the fly. Pretty sure my pinky finger is bruised from all the yanking and scrolling backward to find where I messed up. Maybe next time I'll be honest and say it’s a new hobby.
