...I Spilled Coffee on My Laptop...

So I was working from home the other day, trying to finish this project for my client with a deadline looming. Everything was going smoothly until I got that sudden craving for coffee ... and then everything went downhill. I was juggling my laptop and the steaming cup like it was some kind of crazy balancing act, you know? And in one clumsy moment ... splash! Coffee all over my poor innocent laptop screen... It's a miracle nothing else happened. But here's the thing, I didn't want to admit to my client that this project might be delayed because of a silly coffee spill, so I told them everything was on track and emailed back super late with the completed work. My hands were shaking a bit while typing it up... I just hope they don't notice or ask for an update anytime soon. Still thinking about how close I came to being found out ...
