Slept On The Job

So here's a secret that I've been trying to keep under wraps but it’s eating away at me. One night last week, during my shift as the bartender at this bustling sports bar, things were particularly hectic. We had a game on TV and there was non-stop traffic in front of the bar for orders, refills, you name it. I'm usually good about pacing myself with breaks, but that day, between dealing with tables and managing the cash register, I felt like I could barely catch my breath. And then, without warning, my eyelids just got so heavy, bang! One moment I’m handing a customer their cocktail, the next I wake up on a napkin-covered shelf behind the bar with a wet bar towel across me. It was humiliating but somehow also funny when I think about it now. What do you guys think? Have any of you ever had something like this happen to you at work? Is it just a sign of needing better self-care or am I destined for an accidental nod-off every other week from here on out? Am I the only one who gets so swamped sometimes that they end up with unexpected downtime on the job? Help me make sense of this before my boss notices and things get awkward.
