I Totally Cheated on My Math Test...

Hey there everyone, it's Ms. Lee here from the middle school math department. I know this sounds bad...but uh...well, today was one of those days where I just couldn't get my head around teaching fractions to a bunch of kids who are more interested in passing notes and looking at their phones under the desks than learning anything about adding or subtracting them. And then there was that one particularly tricky homework problem set that seemed impossible for me to explain clearly... So yeah, I'll admit it, I kinda snuck my phone out during lunch today and looked up some answers to help guide my class through those tough problems this afternoon. Now don't get me wrong, cheating is totally against school policy and everything. But how else was I supposed to make sure they learned something from the lesson? Plus, let's face it, we're all just human with our flaws... So here’s where you guys come in, I'm asking if anyone out there has any advice on how to avoid doing this again next time I find myself in a bind like that. Or maybe am I being too hard on myself? Is it really such a big deal anyway? Thoughts, anyone?
