Forgot the Stock Count Again

So yeah, last night I totally forgot to do the stock count again. You know how it is, we had this huge order of new stuff come in and everyone was rushing around like crazy. But me? Just lost in all the chaos. I mean, not that it’s my job or anything to worry about those numbers, but they’re kind of important for inventory and sales projections. And let’s be real, if you forget something enough times, it kinda becomes a pattern. I tried calling it an oversight before, saying 'Oh no, looks like I must have missed that email!' But honestly, it was more like 'My brain just went on vacation.' So this time? Well, yeah, my boss caught me. It’s not the first time and probably won’t be the last. But hey, I mean, come on, who really has room in their head for all those numbers when you’re trying to keep up with everything else? But honestly, despite all that, I kind of feel a little guilty about it, just a teeny bit though, because let’s face it, this job can be pretty stressful and sometimes things slip through the cracks. It's like one big juggling act without enough hands.
