The Office Prank Gone Horribly Wrong

I thought I was being clever when I placed a fake spider in the break room one Halloween. But little did I know, our office manager is absolutely terrified of spiders, she once called pest control over a single fly! So, naturally, this prank went from mildly amusing to borderline traumatizing pretty fast. The poor woman screamed so loud that half the office rushed in with bug spray and sticky traps. And for what? A fake spider that I could have just placed back on my desk without incident. It was all very 'Icarus falls from grace,' if you ask me.
