i accidentally shared my crush's secret

so i teach at this high school and we got a new student named lily who is super quiet but has these amazing drawings. she told me in confidence that she was planning to enter an art contest, but then the day of the contest i blurted it out during class without thinking. lily looked so shocked but everyone cheered for her to go compete anyway. i felt terrible but now she's actually winning prizes and getting noticed which is cool. i guess my big mouth helped in a weird way? kind of glad i did something nice by accident even if it was an oops moment.
