... It Was the Mascot's Fault ...

I was really passionate about this project for the local art festival, a huge painting of our school mascot. We had worked on it so hard as a team, and when it came time to unveil it at the grand opening, something happened. I got so nervous that my hand started shaking uncontrollably... And when the curtain went up, instead of just seeing the vibrant colors we'd been working on for weeks, everyone saw was a big mess of red splatters. My hands were sweaty and trembling... The whole school stared at me with shock and disappointment in their eyes. I tried to explain it was an accident... But how do you tell your peers that you ruined something because you got too anxious about public speaking? Am I the asshole for being too nervous, or is this just normal stuff for a big project unveiling gone wrong?
