My Kids Are Growing Up So Fast

Sometimes I look at my kids and I feel like they're already so grown up. I remember when they were little babies, clinging to me with those chubby hands, and now they’re teenagers barely asking for help anymore. It’s bittersweet watching them spread their wings and fly away from home, even if it's just going off to college or starting a full-time job soon enough. Today was another reminder - I found an old baby picture of my son, and he looked so innocent with those big eyes. Now that same boy is taller than me, with opinions all his own, and sometimes I have trouble connecting. It makes me sad, but also proud that they're becoming their true selves. I guess what I'm trying to say is that while it’s hard watching them grow up, there's a lot of joy too in seeing who they are becoming.
