The Time I Messed Up Our Company's Slack Channel

Last month at work, we were preparing for our annual review and had just set up the new Slack channels. In my excitement to join the conversation early, I accidentally posted in the wrong channel...and then couldn't figure out how to delete it! After a few awkward minutes, someone corrected me, but I still feel like an idiot for making such a simple mistake. Sometimes, even as a software engineer who writes clean code, you can mess up and just hope no one notices or cares too much. Does anyone else have embarrassing moments in similar situations?
