...I Broke My Own Rule...

So last week I was studying for my qualifying exams when my phone buzzed with a notification. It was a message from Jane... an old friend and former lab partner who needed help analyzing some data she'd been struggling with all week. Usually, I'm the type to stay focused on my work, but something about her message just threw me off....I found myself canceling my study session for that night and going over to her place instead. I know I should have stuck to my schedule...but I couldn't resist seeing her again, even if it was just to help with some science stuff. Now I'm paying for it today as I try to catch up on everything missed...and wondering why I always give in when she asks me for something....
