My Artistic White Lie

Hey there! I’m an artist and let me tell you, keeping secrets is like hiding colors in my palette that shouldn’t be there. A few days ago, I was working on this big mural for a community project when something bizarre happened. The paint ran out right as I needed it the most, like the gods of creativity decided to play a cruel joke on me! Now, here’s where the lie comes in: instead of telling everyone that we were missing a crucial color, I told them I had ordered more and asked for extra time to finish. It was such an easy lie and honestly, it felt like cheating at my favorite game, but not really because games are supposed to be fun and fair, right? Now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to complete this masterpiece with a missing shade. The funny thing is, I know deep down, if I had just been upfront about the problem, someone would have probably found another way to solve it or helped me out. But now there’s this tiny nagging feeling in my gut that won’t let go until I confess and face the music.
