newbie mistake

hey everyone so i just started at my new job and yesterday my boss asks me to schedule a meeting for this week but somehow i scheduled it for next month instead of tomorrow like she asked. needless to say, i was super embarrassed. does anyone have any tips or is this kinda thing normal? lol thanks!
