I'm a Bartender and I Hate Vodka Tonic Orders

Vodka tonic, vodka tonic. It's all anyone wants these nights. Every time the cocktail menu rolls around, I just cringe seeing those two words together. The thing is, I know how to make it right, but something about it turns my stomach every single time. Is this normal? Do other bartenders hate this too or am I just a weirdo for disliking a simple mix like that?
