I Spilled Coffee All Over My Laptop and Pretended It Was an Accident

Last week during my online class, I accidentally knocked over my coffee mug. The laptop was sitting right next to it. Instead of owning up, I pretended someone else had tripped me or something equally silly. Now, every time we have a Zoom call, I get paranoid that people will see the stains and repairs all over my poor battered computer. It’s like living with this little secret crime hanging over my head, but honestly? If it happens again, I might just do the same thing. It's not exactly a heroic move, but it sure feels like one at 3 AM when you need to pull an all-nighter.
