i spent my entire grad school stipend on video games and comics

so last semester i got this amazing research grant for like 2k and i was so excited. it felt like a huge deal to me, cuz every other student is always talking about how they are barely making ends meet and living off ramen. but then when i started thinking abt it more and more, all these games and comics that i’ve been wanting to buy popped up in my head. at first i was just gonna spend a small bit of the money, maybe 50 bucks tops, but as time went on the idea grew bigger in my mind. by the end of the semester, i had literally spent every last cent. now i am living off ramen and wondering how to explain this to everyone. im sure im going to be kicked outta the program and labeled a disgrace to grad studies everywhere. but honestly the guilt is kinda funny because i feel like i just did what any normal person would’ve done with that kind of money.
