Forgot My Math Homework Again

So I've been forgetting my math homework like five times this week, and I just feel so dumb about it. My teacher was all nice and understanding today when I said I left it at home. But in reality, I kinda fibbed...I actually lost it somewhere between the kitchen table where I was doing it and here on campus. It's not a big deal, but there's this girl I like who sits next to me, and every time my homework disappears she gives me this look that says 'are you serious?' It’s kind of embarrassing how bad I am at keeping track of things...but also super annoying when someone points it out over and over. Maybe if I just keep telling my teacher I left the book at home, they'll believe me eventually?
