So here’s the thing. I forgot my lunch money AGAIN today and Mrs. Johnson, who runs the cafeteria, knows this like the back of her hand. She just looked at me with that raised eyebrow and said, 'The usual?' But it's not my fault! It’s because my mom left a note on the fridge again, and by some cosmic joke, I didn’t notice until after school when I was hungry as ever. So yeah, I made up some excuse about leaving my wallet at home to avoid another lecture, but honestly, she probably knows better now. I mean, what else am I gonna do? Fake a peanut allergy?
