Life Passing By Too Fast

I remember when my grandkids were little, they'd run around the house with so much energy. I used to be able to keep up with them during their visits, chasing after them and laughing as we all tumbled through the living room together. But now, every time they come over, it feels like a different world. They're growing up too fast, and I'm not sure how to stop and appreciate each moment before it's gone forever. The other day, my granddaughter told me she was going to start high school next year, can you believe it? She's only twelve now, but already talking about college applications. It makes me feel old and a bit useless at times. I want to spend more time with them, teach them things they won't learn in their fancy schools, but sometimes all I'm good for is watching them grow taller than me. What am I supposed to do when they've outgrown my stories and games? I just wish there was some way to slow down the clock, even if it's just a little bit.
