The Sandwich Battle War Is Real

So yeah, I’m the middle child, and let me tell you, being stuck between a baby brother who can’t talk yet but screams for food when he’s hungry and an older sister who is always trying to outdo everyone at dinner time is no joke. Mom loves us both equally, of course she does. But something funny happens every mealtime: my little bro is just learning how to feed himself, so there are crumbs everywhere, and it's messy but cute. My big sis, on the other hand? She’s a sandwich master and always wants the best meat and cheese options for her deli masterpiece. My mom makes a ton of our meals but allows us to each have one 'custom' meal per week where we can choose what we want. I usually go with pasta or pizza (classic, right?), but my sister always goes all out with a special sandwich. Last week, she went for some fancy imported meat and cheese. Mom thought it was awesome and gave her extra ketchup packets because they are her favorite. Now, here’s the thing, ketchup is my jam! I love that stuff so much I could put it on ice cream. But seeing my sister get all those extras made me feel like maybe if she gets special treatment for her sandwiches, I deserve something too. Plus, I was thinking of making a really cool grilled cheese with bacon and tomato soup the next week. I’m just wondering, is this normal? Should I tell Mom how much ketchup means to me so that I can get some extras on my special meal? Or am I overthinking everything?
