I’m Not So Perfect After All

Hey everyone, so here’s a little secret about me. I’ve always tried to be the perfect middle child, neither too rebellious like my younger sister nor too goody-two-shoes like my older brother. But one day, I had to admit that my facade was starting to crack. My mom asked us all to list our favorite family recipes for a cookbook she’s making. Guess who forgot about hers until the last minute and googled 'easy dinner recipe'? Yeah, turns out my contribution is spaghetti with canned tomato sauce and frozen veggies. Mom hasn’t noticed yet (knock on wood), but if she does, I’m blaming it all on quarantine brain.
