Nurse Nightmares

So there I was, working my usual night shift in the hospital when this patient started ranting about how aliens had abducted him and filled his head with mind-controlling devices. Now, anyone who knows me would say that I've seen it all in the medical field, but let's be real: talking to a guy convinced he's got alien brain implants is a whole new level of 'interesting'. After attempting every calming technique in my arsenal (and failing), I had no choice but to call security. The look on their faces was priceless. But hey, it's not like I haven't dealt with patients who just need a little extra TLC to understand they're having a delusion or two. Oh, and before you think I'm some cold-hearted nurse, let me clarify: while the security team escorted him out, I made sure he had his meds and was comfortable. It's all in a day's work, right?
