Late Night Email Misfire

As a night-shift worker at the hospital, late nights can get pretty lonely. But tonight was different, I had just finished my shift and noticed Alex’s name in an email thread from PTA meetings. Without really thinking, I hit reply all instead of directly messaging him about volunteer opportunities. It wasn’t anything major or personal; just a question mixed with some casual chatter. Yet, now that everyone will see it, I can't shake the feeling of embarrassment. Did anyone notice how awkward that email was? Sometimes these small mistakes make me feel like such an idiot, even though logically there’s nothing wrong with reaching out to someone friendly in our community.
