I Broke the Microwave

So I was in the kitchen, making breakfast for my roommates and me. Just microwaving some oatmeal, you know? And as a joke, I set it to heat up for like three minutes on a bag of popcorn instead. But then I completely forgot about it. Ended up with this pungent smell filling the apartment and a broken microwave. My roommates were not amused. Now we're eating cereal every morning until someone replaces it. Classic.
