My Siblings Call Me The Enforcer

When we were younger, our parents used to give us a weekly allowance based on chores... except the list was always huge and no one could finish everything. Mom would threaten to withhold pay unless all tasks were done perfectly which made sense in theory but was pretty unrealistic for a kid’s schedule. I decided it wasn't fair for anyone else to suffer if they missed one item off their list so I started filling out my siblings' forms and marking down what they hadn’t completed. It worked great because Mom thought we all were on top of things... except when she found out. She flipped, calling me the “task enforcer” and threatened to cut my allowance as punishment. I guess you could say it was a mix of sibling rivalry and trying to help everyone stay under the radar. Maybe I was overstepping but it felt good at the time, like being a hero to my siblings while outsmarting Mom’s expectations. Now, I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever played games like this with their parents?
