Toddlers Are Messy Creators

So, I've been taking care of my two-year-old twins full-time now that their dad is working from home too. Yesterday, after what felt like a 24-hour marathon of cleaning up spills and picking up toys, I decided to take a break and bake some cookies for us all. As soon as the smell hit the air, both kids bolted into the kitchen at lightning speed. Instead of helping me mix or decorating with sprinkles, they somehow managed to cover themselves from head to toe in flour and sugar while making a total mess of my freshly scrubbed countertops. I ended up spending another two hours just trying to clean everything up again before we could even think about baking. And the cookies? They got completely trampled underfoot by tiny toddler feet covered in sugar paste. Sometimes, I swear it’s a full-time job just containing the chaos.
