My Little Secret Snack Break

Hey everyone, Mr. Johnson here with a little confession. You know those 10-minute breaks we teachers get every couple of hours? Well, I have this tiny indulgence during my last break before lunch, instead of eating in the staff room like everyone else, I sneak into an empty classroom and munch on my favorite candy-coated peanuts while listening to upbeat music with a hidden Bluetooth speaker. It’s such a peaceful moment away from the chaos, but it always leaves me feeling slightly guilty when I see other teachers working through their breaks or helping students during lunchtime. Am I just being overly responsible or is this kind of treat okay for someone in my position? What do you all think about finding a quiet spot to recharge midday?
