Spilled Coffee on My Boss's Expensive Blazer On Purpose

So here’s my dilemma. I work at a coffee shop, and it’s just been one of those weeks where everything seems to go wrong. There are never enough baristas, the orders always get mixed up, and customers can be real grumpy about waiting for their morning caffeine fix. But none of that is what happened today; something else made my day even worse than usual. You see, we have this new manager, let’s call her Jane. She came in to start last month, and from the first day she didn’t hide how much she dislikes me. I know it sounds petty, but there are reasons for our tension that go beyond just not liking each other, a few months ago before she started, we had this big meeting where I suggested something that could have made us more efficient with ordering supplies. Jane was the only one to shoot down my idea without even considering it or talking about why it wouldn’t work first. Since then, every little thing I do has been under her microscope, and any small mistake gets blown out of proportion. Today was no different. We had a rush this morning with a large group order, but Jane didn’t offer to help despite being there for the entire time. Instead, she stood near me watching my every move like I was about to slip up and mess something up again. Well, guess what? I did make a mistake, or rather, she forced it on me because her hovering made me nervous and distracted. When we were pouring drinks into the large carafe for the group order, I accidentally knocked over a small pitcher of coffee next to it. Of course, when you’re trying not to get in trouble every day at work, spilling hot liquid anywhere is bad news, especially when it lands on someone’s blazer. But guess who was walking by just then? Jane, who happened to be wearing her most expensive blazer that I know costs a fortune. Now, here’s the thing: my spill wasn’t an accident at all. Sure, I might have knocked into the pitcher, but it wasn’t a mistake; it was on purpose. In fact, if I could do it again today, I’d probably do the same thing knowing how she treats me and everyone else. So here’s my question: am I the asshole for doing this to her? Or are there moments when you deserve something bad just coming your way if you treat others unfairly all the time? Let me know what you think!
