new knitting hobby

just started knitting last month after seeing a bunch of cool patterns online and decided i needed to learn it for myself. turns out i suck at following instructions and ended up making the most awkward looking scarf ever, looks like someone tried to put together random pieces of yarn. tried to give it away as a gift but everyone was too polite to say anything so i ended up keeping it for myself. now every time i look at that thing hanging in my closet i cringe
