I Told A Tiny Lie Today

So today at work, I told this tiny little fib and it made me giggle inside. My boss asked when I started working here last week because they were doing a headcount for lunch orders. But the truth is, I actually started yesterday! I wanted an excuse to eat two free lunches in a row, so I said last Wednesday just like everyone else did. It felt naughty but also kind of hilarious because who eats that many office lunches? Now I have this little secret with me every time we order out.
