Defiantly Late to Work...

So here's this: I got hired at this big tech company everyone talks about. Super excited and nervous, you know? But then something happened that really pissed me off on my first day. My boss was all 'punctuality is key' in the orientation, and here I am, late to a meeting because the office coffee machine broke and took ages to get working again... Seriously, who designs these things without self-diagnosing functions?! So yeah, I was like, 'This isn't happening again!' But then it did. And every time someone reminded me about being on time, I wanted to laugh in their face but instead decided to just defy them. You know what they say: if you can't beat 'em... Well, sometimes I feel like I should just stay late and make up for lost time during my breaks. What do you guys think? Have any of you ever been that annoyed at work stuff?
