The Prank War Escalation

I admit it, I've always loved a good prank war. My siblings and I have been doing this since we were kids, pushing each other’s buttons until the laughter is uncontrollable and the tension dissipates. This one time though, it got out of hand. We had just bought these new super-sticky notes that never came off no matter how hard you tried to peel them. My brother had put some in my hair, I retaliated by gluing his favorite toy car to his bed, but then he went too far and covered my entire school bag with the stickers. The next day was important, lots of books and papers for class, and instead of giving up, I decided on a bold move. Using every last bit of the sticky notes left in the house, I plastered them all over Mom's car in big, visible patches. When she got home that evening to find her car like that, it was pure chaos. She was understandably upset, but after some groveling and promising not to repeat such behavior, we managed to scrape off most of it. We haven't had a prank war since then, mostly because I know there's no way I could ever win if he went full-on sticky again.
