My Art Teacher Thinks I'm Cheating (But I'm Not)

Hey there, folks. My name's Alex and I've been getting a lot of attention in my art class lately, but not for the reasons you might think. You see, I love to doodle during lectures. It’s how I stay focused and retain information better. But my teacher keeps catching me and thinks I’m cheating on some kind of test or quiz that isn’t even happening. She’s super strict about it too and has warned me multiple times in front of the whole class. Now, every time she walks by, everyone looks at me like I'm breaking some major rule instead of just drawing my heart out. It's gotten so bad that one of my classmates even asked if there was a secret exam coming up! I’ve explained to her and others how it works for me, but they seem convinced I’m sneaking answers or something equally absurd. Is this normal? Am I the only doodler in the world who gets accused of cheating at school? Any advice on how to handle this would be awesome.
