My Boss Thinks I'm Brilliant Because of My Cluttered Desk

So, I've got this thing where my desk looks like the aftermath of a hurricane. Piles and piles of papers, post-it notes everywhere, and empty coffee cups littering every inch. And yet, my boss still thinks I'm a genius because 'only someone truly brilliant could keep track of everything in that chaos.' Yeah, sure, Mr. Boss Man. The real reason is probably just that I have no shame about leaving evidence of my hard work out for everyone to see. Or maybe it's the sheer luck of never getting caught underperforming when she does her random desk inspections. Whatever it is, here's hoping I can maintain this charade long enough to get a raise.
