Just Began Drawing

So, I've been trying out drawing for like the past week, and it's kinda embarrassing. My first attempt was supposed to be a cat but ended up looking like a cross between a mouse and some weird blob creature from space. And today in art class, we did this sketching activity where everyone else's stuff looked so good, like real-life pictures! Mine? It looks more like I threw paint at the paper randomly. But I'm not giving up! My latest project is trying to draw my pet rabbit, but it keeps hopping away before I can finish a single line. And every time I look online for drawing tutorials, all these people seem so confident and skilled... I feel like a complete beginner. But hey, at least I tried, right? Maybe next week my drawings will start looking less blobby.
