Why I Took All The Bath Toys

Okay, so here's the thing. My kid, let’s call them Charlie, is four years old and has a collection of bath toys that would make a small zoo jealous. Ducks, rubber ducky divers, boats, fishies, all in this huge tub that looks like it needs its own drainage system. And every single day, after what feels like hours of cleaning up these same damn toys, I swear they breed overnight or something because they just multiply and spread out all over the floor again. Yesterday was a particularly grueling bath time session where Charlie wouldn't let me put down any toy before taking it back to the tub. The struggle is real, man. So, after Charlie fell asleep, and I thought no one would notice, I snuck into their room, collected every last squeaky duck and splashy boat, and tossed them all in a big bag under the bed. Now you might think this sounds like I'm the asshole here, but hear me out. The relief is indescribable when you finally get to sit down for five minutes without having to pick up a floating turtle or search the floor for that damn little fishie. And let’s be real, my sanity needs a bit of respite too. So yeah, if any of y’all have thoughts on this move, I'm not asking for solutions just airing it out because I'm damn proud of myself for taking back some control in our bath routine wars.
