Sneaking Screen Time Past Mom's Rules

Hey there! So I have this thing where I love sneaking a little extra screen time in when my mom has her back turned. You know, those rules about no phones past 9 PM? Well, it’s a rule she made for herself as much as me. Lately though, if I’m really bored or just need to vent some stress, I’ll pop open TikTok under the pretense of checking the time on my phone. It’s like playing spy! Mom never finds out because I turn off all sounds and use earbuds so even whispering doesn’t give it away. One night, I almost got caught when Mom asked if she could borrow my phone to make a call. Thankfully, I was quick on my feet and handed her an old backup one that’s always laying around in the kitchen drawer. Phew! It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt, right? I mean, we’re talking about sneaking extra minutes on TikTok, but hey, maybe it’s better to be safe than sorry!
