My Secret Coding Habit...

I've been working at this tech company for years now, and I pride myself on being a disciplined software engineer. But lately, I've started sneaking in coding time during meetings, just little bits here and there when no one is looking. It's not like I'm actually paying attention to the agenda or contributing... more like I'm lost in the thrill of writing lines of code that might never see daylight. I guess it's a coping mechanism for all these boring status updates, but it feels pretty naughty... What if someone catches me? Is this really how I want to be remembered, hiding behind my laptop instead of engaging with my team?...
