This Week Sucks

Oh wow, another Monday. Here we are, staring down the barrel of a week that feels like it's going to be just as uneventful and dull as last week was. My coworkers might as well be mannequins at this point; they don't exactly exude excitement or energy. I mean, one of them even snores when he eats his salad during lunch, which is more interesting than anything we actually do around here. To make matters worse, my boss keeps asking me about productivity hacks and 'maximizing efficiency,' as if a to-do list written in Sharpie on the back of an envelope isn't good enough. It's like he thinks I'm sitting around twiddling my thumbs or something. Meanwhile, all I want is to be left alone to do my job without having to worry about some arbitrary metric of 'productivity.' Maybe next week will bring a fresh start? Or at least a new brand of coffee in the break room.
