Working the Night Shift Sucks

Every time I tell people I work nights and they ask if it's weird, I laugh and say 'Oh yeah, super chill!' But honestly, lying awake in an empty office at 3 AM is anything but cool. The truth is that even on busy nights, when there’s something to do, the hours drag so slowly that sometimes all I want is for my brain to turn off like a light switch. But no matter how tired I am, every night feels endless. And yes, it's not just sad, it's lonely too.
