Told My Kid I Was Too Tired to Pick Up Toys

my kid asked me to pick up their toys last night, but i was so tired from staying up late watching tv that i told them i'd do it tomorrow. deep down i know they deserve better, and now the toys are still there. anyone else ever done this?
