Spilled Coffee All Over My Boss's Favourite Mug

Hey there! So this happened yesterday at work and it's been bugging me ever since. I was making a fresh pot of coffee for the afternoon rush, trying to be extra careful not to spill anything because my boss always walks by just then. But nope, as soon as he appeared in the corner of my eye, disaster struck! The handle on one of our mugs decided to give out, sending hot java all over his favorite mug. I mean, come on, this isn't a Marvel movie where we can rewind and do it all again. He just laughed it off (though I could tell he was disappointed), but the guilt is still hanging around like an unpaid bill. Now everyone's asking if they should take care of their own drinks to avoid my clumsy hands! It’s been a week of living in fear, honestly.
