Grandma's Gaffe in the Garden

Oh my goodness, I'm so embarrassed! Last weekend when we were having our family barbecue in the garden, I accidentally sprinkled garlic salt instead of sugar on all the lemonade. Everyone was reaching for glasses with wide smiles and then their faces just... froze. You could hear a pin drop. It turned into this weird game where people would take tiny sips trying to see if they could get past the garlicky taste, but let's face it, it wasn't exactly thirst-quenching. I ended up feeling like such a klutz because everyone was just being so sweet and understanding, laughing about how funny it tasted. But honestly, I felt like running back into the house to hide under my bed for a week! Thankfully, we had some iced tea as an alternative, and things went back to normal after that. At least there were a lot of stories to tell afterward!
