I Might Have Been A Bit Too Helpful At Work Today

So today at the bar, there was this one customer who had been ordering round after round of the same drink for what seemed like hours. Now, I’m not exactly the bartender type to stand by and watch someone drown their sorrows without doing something about it. So I might have... accidentally slipped a bit more water into his last couple of drinks than usual. It wasn’t exactly my finest hour as a server, but hey, he looked happier with each round, so maybe I did him a solid. But now that I think back on it, maybe next time I'll stick to just listening and offering a shoulder to lean on instead.
