I Spy on My Coworker's Drink Orders

So I'm the barista at a small coffee shop downtown, and let me tell you, we've got our share of regulars. There’s this one guy who always comes in around 9 AM with his laptop and orders the same drink: a venti iced caramel macchiato with no ice, extra foam on top, and he likes it stirred three times clockwise before handing over my card for payment. I mean, can you blame him? It's that perfect. But here’s the thing, every single day when he asks me to take his order, I start writing down what I think he's going to say, based on past orders and patterns. Then, just as a joke, I try to get it right without even hearing him speak. It's like some sort of coffee guessing game. And you know what? More often than not, I nail it. I tell myself it’s all in good fun and that I’m just being observant. But deep down, I think there might be a bit more to my interest in his order than meets the eye. Am I maybe...a little too curious about this guy? Is it weird to have such detailed notes on your regulars' preferences? What do you all think? Is it normal for me to feel like some sort of coffee shop detective?
