Just Another Dull Monday At The Office

I can't believe I did it again this week. Last Friday, after a particularly slow and uneventful day at work where all the usual tasks were completed by lunchtime, I couldn't resist checking out an adult coloring book that my colleague had left in our common area. As a professional who spends most of her days crunching numbers and writing reports, you'd think such frivolity would be beneath me. But there's something cathartic about filling pages with vibrant colors and intricate patterns when everything else feels so monotonous. It was a small rebellion against the tedium of my daily routine, one that left me feeling oddly satisfied and slightly guilty at the same time. No big deal, but it’s one of those things I feel better confessing because I’ll probably do it again.
