When My Kids Were Little and I Ran Out of Patience

So there I was, stuck in a supermarket aisle with my two kids. The baby's starting to wail because she’s hungry, and the toddler is throwing toys into every cart that passes by like he’s in a batting cage. And let me tell you, when your patience hits zero and you start shouting, “Stop it right now or we’re leaving!” That’s exactly what happened. I didn’t feel bad about it either; my mom always said yelling was fine as long as no one got hurt. Well, maybe she didn’t say the last part, but you know what I mean. After a few minutes of this, we managed to calm down and finish our shopping. Now, whenever they see that aisle, they make a beeline for it like it’s some kind of haunted house. And honestly? I kinda miss those days when I could just let loose without worrying about everyone staring at me. Maybe I should have left the kids with my sister next time, but hey, no one ever said parenthood was easy or quiet.
