Debugging My Life...

So I was working on this really gnarly bug at work the other day, you know, one of those that makes your whole system crash and restarts itself like five times while you're trying to type a single line of code. Anyway, in my head, I had this brilliant idea...I thought maybe if I debugged my personal life as carefully as I did with my work stuff, things would go better. Silly me. So I started this whole process of isolating variables and testing hypotheses, like figuring out what triggers certain events or feelings. It's kind of funny now that I think about it...but also a bit embarrassing to admit I thought coding principles applied to relationships too. Like if someone doesn't reply right away on WhatsApp, maybe they're in the middle of installing an update? Or when there's this weird pause in conversation, does that mean the WiFi is buffering? And then, after all these theories and endless cycles of analyzing every little detail...I ended up realizing it was just easier to be honest and straightforward with people instead. Kind of like how you have to face a bug head-on or else your whole program crashes eventually. But man, I needed that crash at least once to get back to basics again...
