The Eldest Sibling's Secret Weapon

So here I am, the oldest of three siblings. My parents always expected me to set an example and keep the peace between my two younger sisters, even though they're both stubborn as mules. It’s been a constant battle for dominance, but I’ve got a secret weapon: guilt-tripping them into submission. Let’s rewind to last summer when we were planning our annual family vacation. My youngest sister Lily (who's actually not that much younger than me) wanted to visit a theme park where she could ride all the roller coasters and play games all day long. But my other sister, Emma, thought it would be better if we went hiking instead, exploring nature and maybe seeing some wildlife. I knew there was no way they were going to agree on this unless I stepped in. So I told Lily about how much Emma had been looking forward to the trip, but then hinted that maybe she wouldn't get invited next time if things didn’t go well with her plan this year. Then to Emma, I mentioned how disappointed Lily would be missing out on some of her favorite rides and attractions. And guess what? They both ended up compromising for a mixed itinerary, morning hikes and afternoon theme park fun! Both girls were happy at the time because they got their way partially, but I knew in my heart that it was me who really made the difference. My sisters might think I’m just playing mediator, but I know better. So here's where you come in: am I being a total jerk or is this just a smart way to keep everyone happy? Am I the asshole for using guilt as leverage, or does it make sense given how much fighting they do? What would you do if your sisters wouldn't agree on anything?
