Wishing for My Childhood Again
Anonymous Cunning Minx #383 · General
I remember those days when my backyard was a wonderland of adventure. The treehouse I built with my friends still stands tall in the memories, but lately, it seems so lonely and untouched by young hands. Sometimes at night, while staring at the stars from my porch swing, I find myself wishing that I could go back to being twelve again, just for a day or two. It's not because I want to relive teenage troubles or awkward moments, far from it. No, what I miss is the simplicity of childhood, when the world was full of magic and possibilities seemed endless. But as much as I wish for those days back, I know there's no going backwards. So instead, I build little birdhouses around my yard and hope that maybe, just maybe, they'll bring a bit of that old magic to the neighborhood.
